David Pomahač aka DKP stál dlouhé roky v čele noise popových Bez peří, zároveň hrával jako baskytarista ve spřízněných Houpacích koních. Jako momentálním hudebním útočištěm je pak duo Kieslowski. Jak sám říká, v poslední době jsem moc hudby neposlouchal, nejvíc času jsem teď proseděl s kytarou při psaní písniček na další album Kieslowski, které právě vzniká. Prožívám teď prazvlástní renesanci vztahu k týhle partě. Sjíždím všechno, co mám a znovu a znovu se nechávám překvapovat, jak dlouho, kde všude a jak nahlas se dá hrát s feedbackem. Měl jsem k nim dlouhou cestu. Nejdřív jsem je nebral, nejspíš kvůli zpěvu Kim Gordon, ale pak mě dostal Lee Ranaldo a cesta se otevřela a teď si je vychutnávám ve všech polohách. A proč Washing Machine a ne jiný album? Protože je tu The Diamond Sea!
MARK LANEGAN - Blues Funeral
Lanegana mám rád už od Screaming trees. Jednu dobu jsem znal jeho sólovky skoro zpaměti a The Gutter Twins mě položili na lopatky. Dlouho, opravdu dlouho jsem se takhle na nějaký album netěšil. Krátil jsem si čekání poslechem Soulsavers a když jsem si stáhnul z iTunes první singl, byl jsem tak nadšenej, že jsem až dostal strach, aby album bylo dobrý jako celek. A je skvělý! Lanegan je můj zaříkávač č. 1, má výborný lidi okolo sebe a míra sdělení je maximální. Všechno teď navíc korunovaný nedávným koncertem v LMB. Je to syrový a chlapský v tom nejlepším slova smyslu.
HOUPACÍ KONĚ - Hotel Palace
S těmahle ústeckejma pardálama jsem prožil ve zkušebně, ve studiu, na koncertech a v hospodách a barech tolik divokejch let, že už nikdy nebudu objektivní, ale Hotel Palace je jejich nejlepší deska. Má zvuk, kterej se na žádný album před tím nepodařilo dostat. Jsou tam dechberoucí písničky a (podle mě) nejčistší sdělení v textech, který se kdy Jirkovi povedlo. HK jsou pro mě předevšim lidi, kterejm věřim, protože jdou na dřeň. Žádnej cukrkandl.
PJ HARVEY - Let England Shake
Ona je moje láska, za kterou bych běžel světa kraj. 'England' není moje úplně nejoblíbenější album, ale je krásný a navíc jsem měl možnost vidět England dvakrát naživo (Berlín, Praha) a live band (PJ, John Parish, Mick Harvey a Jean-Mark Butty) je asi opravdu to nej, co fanda PJ Harvey může chtít. Viděl jsem jí i před tím při tour k White Chalk, kdy hrála úplně sama a i to bylo fantastický. PJ to zkrátka žeru i s navijákem.
DAVID SYLVIAN - Sleepwalkers
Tahle deska je tak skvěle smíchaná, že mi z toho jde hlava kolem. U něj se nedá mejt nádobí, nedá se klábosit. Musí si člověk sednout a nechat se odměňovat. První věc, kterou jsem od něj slyšel bylo album RAIN TREE CROW a bylo to tehdy pro mě zjevení. Nic jsem o něm nevěděl, začal jsem hledat a kupovat další desky a získal jsem další lásku do uší.
NEIL YOUNG - Le Noise
Beru dvě mouchy jednou ranou. Neil je bůh, kterýmu věřím čím dál víc a mám velkou radost z další desky s Crazy Horse. Těším se z naléhavosti zpěvu i kytar a z toho, jak je důležitý bejt věrohodnej. Daniel Lanois je bůh zvuku, kterým je pro to, kam dostal U2, kam je ochotnej zajít v hledání a jak je inspirativní a jak z každýho ždíme podstatu.
dEUS - Keep you close
Skvělá kapela a její další skvělá deska. Šel jsem na koncert do Meetfactory jako ostřílenej fanda, co dEUS viděl mockrát v klubech i v halách a na festivalech a myslel jsem si, že mě nemá co překvapit a že si jen užiju dobrej koncert. Když jsem po třetí písni tančil, zpíval a skákal jako teenager, musel jsem si položit otázku, jak to ty chlapi sakra dělaj´? Asi je to tím potem, kterej z nich stříká. Ten musí bejt jedovatej..
